Volunteer Income Tax Assistance - Feb. 7 - March 16

       Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation and electronic filing for low- to moderate-income Iowans. (incomes are $64,000 or less) beginning Feb. 7.
     Certified community volunteers prepare taxes with computer software and help with special tax credits such as the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), Child Tax Credit, and Credit for the Elderly or Disabled.
      Call 641-623-5188 to schedule an appointment. Monday to Thursday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. to Noon. 15 minute drop-off or 1 hour face-to-face appointment available.
