Ruritan Pancake Fundraiser benefits Big Hearts 4 Tiny Hands

​Members of the Brooklyn Ruritan Club present Jessie Lacaeyse, second from left, a $3,100 fundraiser check for Big Hearts 4 Tiny Hands Foundation on Thursday, March 18. The funds were raised during a Ruritan-sponsored drive-thru pancake breakfast on Feb. 28. Big Hearts 4 Tiny Hands raises funds to help local families with babies in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) or term babies with complications. Since its founding in 2012, the organization, to date, has helped 56 families and 64 babies, who have spent a total of 2,234 days in the NICU.
