The Homecoming Parade gets underway downtown at 5:30 p.m. followed by a pep rally and Dogs for Dollars at Central Park will follow the parade at around 6 p.m. Grinnell-Newburg High School Homecoming Parade, sponsored and organized by Grinnell-Newburg Dollars for Scholars and the Grinnell Area Chamber of Commerce, will be held downtown on Thursday, Sept. 29! The Grinnell Tigers play the Keokuk Chiefs on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at T.T. Cranny Field!
Lineup for the parade begins: 4:30 p.m. (near Central Park, downtown) Parade Begins: 5:30 p.m. **2022 Route will be held in downtown Grinnell, with lineup being held on 4th Avenue & Park Street. The route will head north on Broad Street, west on 5th Avenue, south on Main and east on 4th Avenue. A Pep Rally and Dogs for Dollars, a fundraiser for Dollars for Scholars, will be held following the parade at approximately 6 p.m. in Central Park. *Please Note: Candy should be thrown by walkers, as opposed to people riding on floats, for safety concerns. All entries must be submitted by Sept. 27, 2022 to participate in the parade.
