49th Annual Grinnell Show & Shine Car Show is Aug. 27

​        The 49th Annual Grinnell Car and Bike Show is slated for Saturday, Aug. 27 beginning at 8 a.m. The event, which is held in Central Park, is open and free to the public. It is hosted by the Grinnell Vintage Auto Club.
       Vehicle registration is 8 – 11 a.m. with awards presented at 2 p.m. The cost is $20 to enter a vehicle in the show. The club will hand out 35 trophies plus five special trophies.
      LP33 will be providing the tunes. There will be door prizes and a 50/50 drawing. The Grinnell Optimist Club will be serving breakfast until 10 a.m.
