Join us for another summer of fun for the first of three Montezuma Community Development Booster Bash family events on East and South sides of the Montezuma Square on Thursday, June 22 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The Jacobsen Family will be providing live music and the Be Brave Dance Studio will give a dance performance. The Poweshiek County Conservation Archery Trailer will be on hand and RARE will give a Birds of Prey demonstration. There will be lots of food, games and fun for all ages. A car show will be held around the square and is sponsored by Vannoy Chevrolet, R&R Restorations, Sinclair Tractor and Taylor’s Auto Body. Exhibitors and vendors on hand include product and ag products, arts and crafts, service organization and local businesses. This is the third year for the Booster Bash events to be held on the fourth Thursday of each month. Two other Booster Bash events are slated for Thursday, July 27 and Aug. 24. Do you have an activity or entertainment in mind? Let us know, we’d love to partner with you! The Montezuma Community Boosters are looking for vendors who would like to sell their products (food vendors, garden produce, arts and crafts, home businesses, etc.) or promote their services. Civic groups and government entities are welcome to exhibit, as well! Vendor set-up is free of charge. If you are a local business, artisan, or organization and would like more information, contact the sponsors at [email protected] or call Jo Ahrens at 641-623-5640 or Deb VerMeer at 641-623-2177. Summer is a wonderful time to get together and celebrate. Come join us on the square this summer for Montezuma Booster Bash!
