Montezuma’s Hometown Holiday slated for Dec. 3

      Santa and Mrs. Claus have their photo take with the Hilton children at last year's Hometown Holiday. The North Pole duo is returning to Montezuma on Saturday, Dec. 3 to meet the area children and have a photo taken.
       Montezuma welcomes Santa Claus at the annual Hometown Holiday on Saturday, Dec. 3. Various activities take place throughout the day and into the evening. They include the following:
      
Santa Breakfast Buffet – 8 – 10 a.m., Memorial Hall. Visit and photo op with Santa; breakfast buffet (freewill donation) and cookie decorating
           
Hot Cocoa Special – 8 a.m. – 12 p.m., Vivarium
           
Cookie Walk – 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., United Methodist Church
          
Book Buddy Workshop & Festival of Trees  – 9:30 – 11 a.m., Montezuma Public Library (Vote for your favorite tree with a non-perishable food donation)
          
Wreath Making Class (advanced registration required) and Wine Tasting – 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Montezuma Floral and More
           
Sounds of the Season – 1 – 2 p.m., United Methodist Church
           
Soup Supper with Live Music – 4:30 – 7:30 p.m., Presbyterian Church.
       
Holiday Lights Aglow Tour – The third annual Holiday Lights Aglow Tour around Montezuma slated for the evening of Dec. 3
​            Stroll around the square and enjoy the specials and the tree displays in all the shops.
