More than 100 new and old vehicles were on display at the first annual Montezuma American Legion Post 169 Car and Truck Show on Saturday, Sept. 24 around the Montezuma Square. The show, which was well attended, was a fundraiser for the local American Legion, who plans to build a new Legion Hall on donated property on the northeast side of town. Numerous local and area businesses donated to raffles, which included a Blackstone Tailgater Grill/Griddle, a handmade Route 66 quilt and many gift cards and merchandise. Plans are already in the works for the 2023 show.
