Come meet Herky the Hawk in Montezuma on June 15

         Herky the Hawk, the University of Iowa mascot, is coming to Montezuma on Saturday, June 15 as part of the 1st Annual "Wave Fore The Kids" golf tournament at the Montezuma Country Club. Herky will be showing up to support the tournament golfers from 9 - 11 a.m. The tournament gets underway at 8 a.m.
         "I just wanted to let everybody know this is a public event. Everybody is eligible to donate, buy raffles for prizes, and to hang out," said Siraj Thomason, owner of the Longhorn Saloon in Barnes City, host of the golf tournament. "Bring the kids for a meet and greet with Herky, and a picture! Pool will also be open! Great things are happening."
        All the money raised is donated to the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital for the kids!
