Bravettes handle Holy Trinity, 60-44, in regional finals win

     Laila Kercheval and Rylee Thompson and the Montezuma student section celebrates the Bravettes, 60-44, regional finals win over Holy Trinity on Friday, Feb. 16 at home on blackout night. Shiressa Wetering scored 13 points and 8 rebounds while Ellen Cook added 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals in the game. Vivan Cook hit 4 treys to finish with 12 points. The win advances the Bravettes to play CAM of Anita on Wednesday, Feb. 21 in the regional championship game at Norwalk High School in Norwalk where the winner will advance to state.
