4-H County Council Ice Cream Fundraiser

​Members of the Poweshiek County 4-H County Council are joined by the 2019 Poweshiek County Fair Queen Theresa Crawford, middle, during the ice cream fundraiser on Friday, July 19 at this year’s county fair. Harold Wheeler of Montezuma churned up 15-gallons of homemade ice cream, which was sold at a suggested price of $3 per bowl. The group sold around 14 gallons of ice cream with proceeds going to 4-H activities.

​The 2019 Poweshiek County Fair Little Miss Queen, Grace Schalmo, places sprinkles and other goodies on a bowl of ice cream being served by the 4-H County Council on Friday, July 19.
