Montezuma FFA Floriculture finishes fifth at state

       The Montezuma FFA Floriculture CDE (Career Development Event) team earned a fifth place finish and gold rating at state competition on Wednesday, June 12 at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Pictured are, from left: Addy Vermeer (alternate), Sophia Semprini, Abbi Henkle, Lauryn Larmore and Olivia Latcham.
      There were 47 teams comprised of 164 individuals from across iowa who competed in general knowledge, problem solving, plant identification, corsage making, floral production and a floral design team activity as part of the day's activities. Great job young ladies!
